Taking cognizance of the difficulties faced by students in securing admission into Class XI in various schools in Darjeeling, it was decided to upgrade the present status of the school to ISC - Indian School Certificate Examination [Class XI & XII].

The purpose of this important undertaking was to ensure uninterrupted education from Class LKG to Class XII thus mitigating the search for a new educational institute when students passed out from this school.

From June 2003 there will be three streams i.e. Science, the Humanities and Commerce, and a fourth Pure Science will be added in 2004.

Classes will commence from the first week of April each year after the result of the ICSE and other Examinations.
