History

West Point a Co-Educational English Medium School was founded in 1981. Located inDarjeeling -the foothills of the Himalayas, West Point is commited to providing a well-rounded primary and secondary school education. The school is affiliated to The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

The first batch of candidates appeared in the ICSE examination in 1985 and a 100% pass percentage has been maintained after 1989 and this pass percentage has never gone below 94%.

Although the main aim of the school is to provide adequate facilities for active academic pursuit, sincere efforts have been made to inculcate in the students a sense of honesty, loyalty, dignity of labour and pride in national heritage, traditions and culture.
